training books

Two new books I have purchased recently. Both excellent. Brain Training for Runners by Matt Fitzgerald and Getting Lean for Peak Performance by the same author. I ordered them from Amazon but you can get them anywhere I suppose! Time for me to shift a bit of weight once the weather improves. No harm carrying a bit extra while it's still a bitterly cold north wind blowing in. Damn those Scandanavians!!

No carbs in the evening. More protein in your diet. No WHITE BREAD - Massive fruit & Veg.

Have been off the white bread for the last 6 weeks, massive difference. Wholemeal. Very little chocolate, no refined foods/sugars. Enough protein already. Loads of fruit and veg, but unfortunately cannot take in too much fruit as my digestive system canot handle it. As a former IBS sufferer I still have to be careful with my diet, and balance is very important.
