Just run through the time trial results - well done! Also had a look at fastest times this year and I think you are about 63rd - what a great result for your first trial!
Passed on your time to Derek and he was impressed for your first time trial - he said to give you his congratulations- he never broke the hour for 25 miles - he remembers the record was about 57mins - that was in fact 50+ years ago - he was put forward for the Olympic trials on that time. Equipment etc has greatly improved since then.
Thank you. I have good strength on the bike and feel I've more in me to go a lot quicker, which will develop over time. Will do some time trial specific training early on at the beginning of next year, as I want to concentrate more on my bike riding next year, and having a very strong bike leg will help me save energy for running off the bike in my triathlon events, as I will be able to afford to not go quite so hard on the bike and yet still put in a good time.
